unfinished business

The trip to Jeffersonville was not on the schedule.  Even though the home of the Red Devils had undergone a major renovation it was not our intent to return.  But then Jac-Cen-Del entered the frame again.  We first followed the Lady Eagles in 2014 as their tournament trip took them from Osgood to Southwestern (Shelbyville) and finally to Richmond, where the journey ended at the hands of Vincennes Rivet.  2015 reunited us at the Jeffersonville Semi-State where the Eagles were once again turned away from the State Championship finale - this time by Barr-Reeve.  Fast forward to 2016 and there was Scott Smith's crew again with, as they said, "unfinished business."  I'm sure you know the rest of the story - one that ended well for the Lady Eagles, as they defeated a very talented Rivet team, 46-43.  And the last order of business?  One more step to climb in Indianapolis.  CGS.

    Fantastic photos! I love the way you told the story, captured the emotion of the game with less focus on capturing the action.
